Bring your friends and family out to support the American Cancer Society Real Men Wear Pink initiative as local cooks go head-to-head to see who turns up the heat and takes home top honors. Whether you’re entering to win, shopping with local vendors, or enjoying the festivities (including a Children’s Pumpkin Patch!), your support directly funds vital cancer research, patient support, and advocacy. Ways to Participate: Cook-Off Competitors: Think your recipe has what it takes? Enter your team in one or multiple cook-off categories! Austin Street Art Walk is presented by Rockport Center for the Arts, in partnership with local galleries, restaurants, and businesses located along Austin St. (over 30 participating businesses) Art Walk is a free, alfresco, walkable experience featuring an ever-changing mix of participants representing various art mediums such as paintings, pottery, jewelry, photography, textiles, as well as live music, artist demonstrations, food and more. Get ready to be part of something extraordinary at the Portland Texas Chamber Foundation’s Taste of the Coastal Bend fundraising event. It’s an event like no other, and we want you to be there! Enjoy a variety of food & drinks from local eateries and culinary programs. The evening will include a curated selection of unique items and experiences in our silent and live auctions. General Admission Tickets include samples from all local eateries. Children 5 and under are free to enter. A cash bar is available.
